For information about upcoming Festival Sales check our Facebook Events Page.
We provide products and support to a number of organizations who hold sales of Ten Thousand Villages fairly traded products in their own communities. Charities, non-profit organizations and fundraising efforts are allowed to keep a portion of the proceeds for their own work. Please contact us if you would like more information. Please note that we do need considerable lead-time (at least 2 months) to organize such events, especially if your event would be large, or taking place during the busy Christmas season.

This November, grab a few friends and expand your Ten Thousand Villages experience with a trip to the 2018 Fair Trade Festival Sale, every Friday & Saturday in November! (except Friday, November 30)
Browse a fabulous selection of handcrafted gift items from 35 countries, and enjoy some homemade borscht and desserts in the tearoom every Saturday. Fair Trade shopping is available every Friday and Saturday for the month of November. (except Friday, November 30)
With a wide variety of Christmas ornaments, home décor and fashion accessories, the Festival Sale offers the opportunity to “shop with a conscience.” Purchases give artisan groups – from Asia, Africa and Latin America – the chance to make a livelihood for their families.
The Fair Trade Festival Sale is located at the Ottawa Mennonite Church, 1830 Kilborn Avenue (Alta Vista). Free parking, wheelchair accessible.
Fairly High Tea
Back by popular demand, we are hosting a fourth annual Fairly High Tea on Friday November 23 2018 at the Ottawa Mennonite Church Festival Sale. There will be two sittings throughout the afternoon and tickets will be available in advance. This event sold out quickly last year, so be sure to stay tuned to our Facebook or Twitter for information about where and when to buy tickets.
